Poshmark Offer To Likers Feature – Make a Deal Days
Poshmark Make a Deal Days are when Poshmark offers a promotion to use the Offer to likers feature. There will be 5 $100 winners each hour and then one $1000 winner for the day. You will see a notification banner on the top of your news feed when it is active. It’s not consistently going on. They just do it on random days. “Offer to Likers” is when you reduce the price by at least 10% and offer a shipping discount all of the likers on the listing will be notified. You can offer $1.80 or $6.79 (free shipping) off the shipping. The Minimum final price must be $10 to qualify. The shipping discount comes out of your own cut not Poshmark! This is why I prefer Closet Clear Out, but I still take advantage of both promotions. I will be doing a Poshmark Tips and Tricks Series. This can be super hit or miss. I can have a day with a ton of sales and then a Make a Deal Days with no sales. It is still worth it for me because I do not typically send out offers to likers on other days I just wait to do decreases on these days. When I list I always list for more than I am hoping to get, so I can take advantage of sending offers to likers and when people ask for discounts.

What Items to Offer the Discount on
Do not lower prices of items with no likes, because no one will get a notification. Wait until another Make a Deal Day when someone likes that item. If it’s an item that only has a few likes and I recently listed it sometimes I will wait until a future Make a Deal Day when it has more likes.
How Much Should you Discount
It must be reduced by 10% of your listing price. It does not have to be at the all-time low the price like closet clear out. So you could technically raise it 10% and then send the offer, but some people might remember the price. I don’t drop more than 10%, because that is all you need to do to send out the notification. People still might offer you less than the 10%, because they don’t understand that if they make less of an offer they no longer get the discounted shipping.

When you list item your closet gets more attention. During these Make a Deal Days is a good time to list.
When to Send the Offers
The most amount of people are active around the nighttime party (10pm EST), so I usually try to send around then. There is a 24-hour window where the offer is still valid.

The more you share the more people see your items and like it. People are more likely to buy the item when they freshly liked it. I feel like not too many people would like something and then a month or two later make the purchase. If they liked it enough to buy they probably would have already bought it. (This is just my opinion!! I don’t have any research on this) This is why you will also see people suggesting to relist an item if it’s taking too long to sell. Don’t worry about losing the likes of people who clearly didn’t like it enough to buy.
